My formal technical education began with an AAS in Construction Technology. I originally pursued an Architecture Degree at the University of Arizona, where during my first year I discovered advanced programs like AutoCAD (Computer-Aided Drafting) and 3D Studio Release 3.0 for DOS. This became a major turning point in my career, sparking a lifelong passion for 3D technology and hardware optimization.
Instead of continuing down a traditional architectural path, I chose to attend the University of Advancing Computer Technology (UACT), formerly known as the CAD Institute. I specialized deeply in Virtual Reality technology, where I was formally trained in multiple coding languages under the software engineering department, extensive graphics programs under the multi-media departments, and precision industrial design for manufactured products. I graduated with a BAS in Design from the institution, which has since been renamed the University of Advancing Technology (UAT).
Relevant Background in Advanced Computing
I spent nine highly intensive years working for a company called Nexus Multimedia, which evolved into Outhouse LLC (outhouse.net), and is currently known as the Contrado Group. Serving as the Technical Director for the Rendering & Animation Division, I was one of the very first employees of an organization that rapidly scaled to 45 team members. As the Technical Director, I served as the central point of contact for all complex systems, wearing many hats in a fast-paced corporate production environment.
My core responsibilities included the creation, maintenance, and structural optimization of a proprietary 3D modeling and animation pipeline utilized within both AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max production software. In this role, I served comprehensively as the CAD Manager, internal Desktop Support Engineer, high-level technical liaison for corporate client deployments, and manager of the corporate Render Farms. I directed software R&D, implemented strict training documentation, managed massive hardware procurement for computing workstations, and handled the deep troubleshooting and component-level maintenance of all workstation and network server architectures.
Internally, I engineered and maintained a company-wide intranet built from scratch using PHP and MySQL, deployed over a robust FreeBSD server environment—the exact open-source Unix operating system foundation that modern Apple macOS environments are built upon. This server infrastructure served as a critical cross-training help desk system and secure discussion platform for individual development teams. Transitioning from network server management into custom business website development was a natural progression of my foundational technical skill set.
To this day, I continue to contract directly with Outhouse LLC / the Contrado Group, writing, updating, and maintaining their specialized MaxScript and AutoLISP software programs whenever they execute major platform upgrades. I also actively handle high-end technical 3D modeling for their team, converting flat blueprint CAD plans into highly accurate 3D architectural models for photorealistic renderings utilized by top-tier home builders across the United States.
Meticulous systems troubleshooting, data recovery, and professional computer repair services became a core specialty due to the demanding nature of my Technical Director background. Launching an independent local mobile repair and IT consulting business was a transparent, natural progression of my career path. We have proudly served residents and small business owners across Venice, Englewood, Sarasota, North Port, Cape Haze, and Nokomis, FL for over 19 years now, and it has been an absolute pleasure building lasting relationships with the wonderful people throughout our local Florida communities.
